I had just gotten out of the hospital the day before ordering from here. I was in a motorcycle accident that broke my leg in half. I went into surgery to have a metal rod permanently implanted to hold it together again... Needless to say, I wasn't feeling too great lol. I came on their website & saw that they had my favorite food of all time listed on their menu - a "Philly Cheesesteak Stromboli" - I ordered mine with hot peppers and onions. This has always been a hit or miss item for me when I usually have to ask restaurants to special make this item for me, so the fact that it was already on their menu, had me very excited! lol. My meal arrived within an hour(which is fine considering this needed to be cooked to perfection). The delivery guy was very kind & helped me with what he could when he saw that i could not walk due to my broken leg/surgery. He placed my stuff down for me where i asked, and was also very kind and welcoming of all my pets jumping all over him lol. Now... The food(if you're still reading this)... I can't just say it was amazing or incredible.. it wouldn't be doing the meal justice. It was so good that it almost felt like whoever was cooking that night understood the pain I was in, and wanted to make me something so perfect & special to rid of all the negativity for the 20-30 minutes it took me to scarf this delicious beast down. As i mentioned earlier, this is my all time favorite dish, and when I bit into it.. I had instant memories of ordering it when I was younger every thursday night on family pizza night. And in the time I sat there eating it I had not a single negative thought about my accident, broken leg, surgery, medical bills or anything that was not 100% positive. THAT IS GOOD FOOD, PEOPLE!!! And when someone truly loves what they do for a living, it shows through their work. This chef clearly has an amazing passion, and I thank him for giving me that positive taste of hope! :) PS - I don't even have a yelp account. I have to create one just to post this, and even though I know i'm dooming myself to more email offers in my inbox... I know this place deserves this review, and I'm glad to do it. Thank you guys again for the PERFECT CHEESESTEAK STROMBOLI last night, I'll never forget you for that.

Ventured in for the first time with my family just looking for a good pizza place. Well, i think we found it! Garlic rolls and pizza are outstanding at Roman Oven. I also ordered a bowl of Minestrone which was a little bland, though it did have big chucks of fresh veggies. From an atmosphere perspective, the restaurant is very quaint which maybe 6 or seven tables. My 4 yr old son wanted to watch the staff make pizzas and they gave him some dough, sauce, and cheese to make his own mini pie. He was so excited. But to top it off they cooked his personal pie and he devoured the whole thing. What a great experience for him. Definitely will be going back!

Not bad! Order delivery: ordered salad, garlic rolls and a cheese pizza. Girl he answered phone was very nice the delivery guy that came with very fast and extremely nice. I started with my salad just playing iceberg lettuce they did put cheese on top of it and the dressing was very good. I also got garlic rolls which were very good. The cheese pizza was good. I like mine a little bit more crispier than that, but it was not bad. it's very hard to find good pizza here in Broward, but I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

A small treasure if you're looking for some really good pizza! It's a small restaurant, not a lot of inside seating. The waitress we had wasn't really knowledgable on the menu, but very pleasant. The fried ravioli was excellent. Cheesy, crunchy, well seasoned and didn't taste like they came from a box in the freezer. Really enjoyed them. The marinara sauce was very generic, nothing that made it memorable, but still good. Pizza needs three qualities: crispy crust, a great sauce and enough cheese to keep it all balanced. This hit all three with perfection! It's hard to find good pizza that you want to go back to, and this is really a place I intend to get pizza from over and over again.

Got the Black and Bleu sub. It was dry and chewy. I could have got that at Subway. The only thing that made it different was the Bleu Cheese. For an Italian restaurant, I expected a sub that was a cut above Subway with fresh, not prepackaged meat. The meat should be in a crock pot, tender and juicy, along with the onions.

Well I ordered for the first time tonight based on the reviews and all I can say is... EH! The calamari was so over cooked I wasn't able to even chew it! I could only spit it it out. The pizza wasn't bad but they got my order wrong. The dough wasn't crispy at all. Almost prematurely taken out of the oven. No Bueno! The garlic rolls were decent. The delivery was fairly prompt. I will NOT order from there again.

My wife and I are Killing time before a wedding reception and we were hungry. Stumbled across this place and WOW. We are from New Jersey and have had let just say a few slices of pizza before. This place has one of the best slices we have had in a while. Florida is tough when it comes to pizza, finding a good slice can be hard. My only real problem with this place is that is too far from coconut creek where we live.

My son and I went for lunch because he wanted pizza. I like small hole I the wall pizza joints. Normally they have really good pizza and really good garlic rolls. They have other items like sandwiches, pastas etc but we won't be back but we ordered pizza, garlic rolls and pasta fagioli. Pizza...nothing amazing. Average slice. The sauce was okay. Again nothing that makes me want more. Soup: not hot and again nothing amazing. It had bacon in it and normally doesn't. I've never had it with bacon. It was very chewy. Coming from an Italian home it was a let down. I love soup and didn't want to finish it. My son eats everything and he wasn't fond of it either. :/ The rolls...where do I start...not hot, covered in oil/grease, with no pieces of garlic let alone the taste of garlic. I'm not sure if I'm the only one but when I eat garlic rolls I want to vampires to stay away! I want it to come out of my pores! The dough itself wasn't fresh. Kind of tasted like last night's leftover rolls. We went 50 minutes after they opened. There's no reason the food shouldn't of been hot or fresh! The service was good however when we set down there was one couple and they were almost finished. Everyone was very friendly and made sure we were okay. If I had to base it off of that I would give them four stars. But this is often quality of food so I say one and a half stars. But to each his own.

I ordered from the Roman Oven for the first time today. I've lived in the area for 13 years and have tried many pizza places. Growing up in New York, I will say I'm very picky when it comes to Italian food, and pizza in particular. The pizza was nice and thin with a crispy crust. The garlic rolls were outstanding! Thank you Gary for the extra roasted garlic paste, I will smell for a week, but absolutely amazing! And definitely not the least of this first time order, Zeppolis! I have not had one since I left NY. They are not the big ones of my youth, but they tasted exactly the same! I ate those before anything else! If you live in the cooper city Fl area, this place is a must!!!

I ordered delivery and the Garlic rolls were great! The down fall was the calzone; it was very bland and the texture if the dough was..... Will try something else next time...best out of 3 dishes.

Great location, plenty of parking, rather small but quaint restaurant. You can tell its a family run business they're very friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. I will definitely return.

I like Roman Oven, the staff is very friendly. I think they changed their pizza recipe though, the crust seems to be a bit thicker now, kinda on the chewy side but still a good slice of pizza.

Last night, I ordered baked ziti with meat sauce and a coke. The ziti meal came with a salad and 3 garlic rolls. The food arrived in the time they estimated (45 minutes) and it was piping hot. The ziti was tasty, not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. Same for the garlic rolls. The italian dressing was tasty. The delivery guy wasn't very enthusiastic, he didn't have a pen for me to sign my credit card receipt and he seemed less than happy with my $3 tip. But overall, it was a fair experience. I would try their food again.
